Here is a video which explains the functions of the Porting Kit. Now there is a stable version of the Porting Kit availlable which makes the porting easier. Until now you had to download the preconfigured wrappers and install the games manually. The Micro Framework Porting Kit supports the adaptation of the platform to specific hardware for processors using the RealView, Keil and GCC toolchains for the ARM processors (including Cortex) and the VisualDSP++ toolchain for the ADI Blackfin processors. That's going to require some refactor to happen. Its a site for porting Windows games to Mac by using Wine. We have plans to release a new version of Porting Kit Legacy, supporting the macOS versions before macOS 10.13, but so far, that's still on our backlog. If you have the master wrapper and the necessary engines installed properly, you should have no issues using the Create Custom Port feature. If you don't find the game, then we never supported it officially, which means you're gonna need to rely on creating a Custom Port. If you find the game that you want to install, let me know the name of the game, and I will check if we had a WSI2 file of that game, so I can send it to you, so you can install it (I still have a backup with the latest WSI2 files before we updated them into WSI3). Look for the game that you want to install here: That's because all of our ports were updated to WSI3, while PK3 only supports WSI1 and WSI2. No ports available in the server area of the Library, or all of the ports fail to install You can find download URLs for any Wineskin engine right here just look for the ones whose name starts with WS9:ģ. Also, I can't remember which engines work in Sierra exactly, but I think you should be able to use WS9 engines only. You need to place the engines that you are going to use inside the ~/Library/Application Support/Wineskin/Engines folder. No engines available for download, or engines fail to download How to Retrieve Transaction Key: Obtain the serial number of the POD Kit from the POD kit shipping box or the optics clamshell box. If you download the second file (Wineskin-2.5.12.zip), place it inside the folder, and then extract it.Ģ. If a POD kit with a printed transaction key is to be redeemed after the licensing site changes have been implemented, there will be an option to redeem this transaction key on the licensing site. If you download the first file (.7z), just place it inside the folder, and rename it to Wineskin-2.9.0.7z. You need to place the master wrapper in the ~/Library/Application Support/Wineskin/Wrapper folder. In case it doesn't work, I have an older version here (although, it may be too old if that's the case, let me know so I can look for one in the middle): I think this master wrapper may still work in Sierra, although, I can't say for sure. You're gonna need to download a master wrapper manually. No master wrapper available for download, or master wrapper fails to download Now, you may experience some issues, and I will explain how to circumvent each one of them, in case they happen:ġ. You can find the latest PK version that still supported macOS 10.12 right here: Obtain the serial number of the POD Kit from the POD kit shipping box or the optics clamshell box.Since macOS 10.12 is no longer officially supported, you may need some workarounds in order to use the Porting Kit.Firstly, downloading the Porting Kit. If a POD kit with a printed transaction key is to be redeemed after the licensing site changes have been implemented, there will be an option to redeem this transaction key on the licensing site. Changes to the Connectrix licensing site will be implemented to support this change.Once this inventory is depleted, transaction keys must be retrieved electronically through this new process. There will be a transition period where POD kits with printed transaction keys may be received by the customer.License activation instructions for this new process will be in the POD kit box.The activation process will require using the Serial Number from the POD kit AND the Serial Number from one of the optics contained within the POD kit.The Transaction Key will now have to be retrieved electronically though the Connectrix Software License Center. The POD Kit Transaction keys will no longer be printed and included in the POD Kit box.Around December 2022 the Ports On Demand (POD) kit license activation process changed.
